Dear Fans, Guests, and Friends…

I am writing this letter to bid farewell to all of you, to all those who have generously supported us by returning so often to the Alexandre Cafe since its creation on August 2009 but it is time for me to say our final goodbye as the creator of the Alexandre Cafe.

I have learned throughout the years to love the Filipinos, those who have made a difference in my life. I would also like to humbly express my most sincere gratitude for allowing us and our passion to enter so many Filipinos’ hearts, it is really because of you all that I persisted so long while battling impossible challenges, all of which I miserably failed to overcome. I understand now what so many families in the Philippines are going through especially those who created small businesses. While this experience has costed us and so many lots of losses and tremendous distress, I have all gained a wealth of lessons, lessons I will carry forever in my heart.

I have learned a great deal over the past 3 years and I must say the experience was, to say, enlightening and so I decided to change path, one I find more fitting and more along the line of helping others while making a serious contribution to society especially to those Filipinos less fortunate here at home and those abroad through FM, a company owned by a close friend of mine.

It is amazing how one door closes in your life and a new one opens up at the right time, a time where despair had sat in, a time where I had lost faith in humanity but now I see why my journey brought me to the Philippines and so in the spirit of loving and helping others, I welcome the new challenge in my life. Through FM, in the past few months I have had the privilege and the honor to positively change hundreds of people’s lives and the joy in my heart was finally restored.

I have a new mission and I am thrilled to be part of a company created by the people and for the people. I am thankful for all those people who came into my life these past 3 years as they taught me lessons to never be forgotten. Forgiveness in my heart is all I have and regrets absolutely none. Instead I am full of compassion for those lost souls, I pray for them and wish them all well.

I came to the Philippines in 2008 with nothing in mind, lost, with little direction, yet I decided to stay. I now leave the Alexandre Chapter with a purpose, so enlightened, with a mission. Thank you all for everything and I truly hope you have enjoyed throughout the years the Alexandre Cafe, my passion for the past 3 years, a passion that ultimately resides in the meeting of the people of the Philippines  :)

Salamat Po!
